The Beyerlein Group is excited to welcome Postdoctoral Scholar Yixi Shen to UC Santa Barbara.  Yixi will focus on studying the development of heterogeneous nanostructured materials using phase fields.  Before joining UCSB, Yixi recieved his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, studying under Prof. Douglas Spearot.
