Congratulations to Pulkit Garg, a postdoctoral researcher in the Beyerlein group, who will be joining the Department of Mechanical, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Toledo as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in August 2026. At Toledo, Pulkit will establish the DECODE (Defect Engineering via Computational Design) Materials Lab, contributing to the department's research and teaching missions. To celebrate, the Beyerlein group gathered for dinner in downtown Santa Barbara to send Pulkit off in style. We're thrilled for him and wish him the very best in this exciting next chapter!
