Fourth-year PhD student Nico Fuchs-Lynch has been selected for the DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) program. The DOE SCGSR program is highly competitive and is designed to prepare graduate students for careers that support the DOE Office of Science mission, including advances in energy, national security, and fundamental materials research. He will be conducting research at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque with Dr. Remi Dingreville on his thesis work centered around bimetallic nanolaminates.
